Architectural Description: 11 Atlantic Avenue is a 2-story, 3-bay center entry dwelling. The front-gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles; partial cornice returns; interior brick chimneys at south slope. A piece of trim across the gable end creates a full gable effect. The second story flares out slightly over the first story, and the flare is accented with wood trim. The primary entrance consists of a pane and paneled aluminum door with storm, accessed by wood steps and handrail. Fenestration includes 6/1 wood DHS with inoperable shutters. A vestibule is located on south facade contains a secondary entrance. The gable roof has a full return. The west-facing entry consists of a modern pane and panel aluminum door with storm. A wood open deck leads from the street to the entrance vestibule at the side. |
