Architectural Description: 471 Commercial St. is a 2-story, 3-bay dwelling combining elements of Queen Anne and Italianate styles; hipped roof is sheathed in wood shingles, exterior brick chimney; exterior is clad in wood shingles; building sits on a concrete block foundation; fenestration includes 1/1 wood DHS, 2/1 wood DHS windows, 1/1 SHS with diamond-pane leaded glass in the top sash, 2-story canted bay on front facade, operable shutters on 1st story; primary entrance is accessed by multi-pane wood doors; 1-story hipped-roof wrap-around porch supported by Doric columns with square balusters and wood deck; overhanging eave with paired brackets; 2-story porch added to side facade.
