Architectural Description: 3 Winthrop Street is a 1-1/2-story, 5-bay, center chimney, full cottage; fenestration includes 6/9 wood DHS with inoperable shutters on front facade; shed dormer on front roof slope has 6/6 wood DHS flanking octagonal center window; central entrance is accessed by a pane-and-panel replacement door with flat hood supported by decorative brackets; entry reached by wood steps and deck with balustrade leading from south; south facade has sliding glass modern doors on 1st and 2nd stories with balconies; shed dormer on rear roof slope; 2-story addition on rear facade with sliding glass doors on each floor with balconies; shed addition to rear with 6/1 wood DHS; octagonal single-pane wood windows throughout are single-pane wood; sliding glass doors on north side. |
