Architectural Description: 9 Johnson Street is a 2-story, 3-bay sidehall cottage. The front gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles; partial returns; frieze below eaves; gable wall dormers on north and south facades; gable wall dormer at northeast corner raised to full 2-story; exterior brick chimney on east facade. Corner boards present. The primary entry consists of a pane and panel wood door and modern storm, brick steps and wood entablature surround. A secondary entrance is located on the south facade toward the rear, with a flat hood and decorative brackets. Fenestration includes 2/2 wood DHS with wood surround, operable shutters; entablature lintel. Second-story porch on east facade. |
