Architectural Description: 5 Central Avenue is a 2-story, 2-bay sidehall dwelling with a rear ell. The building is clad in clapboard on the primary facade, with wood shingles on secondary facades. The front gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles; partial returns; frieze below eaves; interior brick chimney at peak. Corner pilasters are present. The primary entrance is a recessed entry with entablature top, flanked by pilasters and 3-pane sidelights; the door is pane and panel wood with bulls-eye glass and modern storm, accessed by brick steps. Fenestration includes bow windows at the 1st and 2nd stories of the front facade, each containing modern vinyl windows; 6/6 wood DHS in attic; 6/6 wood replacement windows along south and north facades; inoperable shutters. A 2-story ell is located at the rear.
